Mari Soppela

Mari Soppela was born in Kernijavi, Finnland in 1966. She studied audio-visual arts in Oulu, where she concentrated on experimental video. In 1991 she began studying computer graphics and electronic media in Groningen, Holland. In 1993 she received a Master of Arts from the University of Middlesex, London.
