Audio-visual performance from Harald Bergmann and Konstantin Klatt with texts from William S. Burroughs, Antonin Artaud and Rolf-Dieter Brinkmann. For Poets the filmmaker and musician Bergmann worked with text fragments from William S. Burroughs, the Godfather of Psychodelic, Rolf-Doeter Brinkmann, the Ôonly German poet that really knows how to handle his wordsÕ (Theleweit), and Antonin Artaud, surrealism's most uncompromising poet and philosopher. The German actors Peter Brombacher and Walter Schmidinger assisted in the production of the video by reading for this performance. Live accompaniment for the texts was provided by Harald Bergmann and Konstantin Klatt on several synthesizers.
