Madelon Hooykaas

Madelon Hooykaas was born in 1942 in Maartensdijk, Holland. From 1960 to 1964 she studied and worked in photography. She was at the Ealing School of Art & Design in London in 1966. In 1970 she travelled throughout the world and stayed for several months in Japan. Since 1972 she has been working with Elsa Stansfield in London and Amsterdam. In 1975 she produced her first works with video environments with Elsa Stansfield. She lives and works in Amsterdam and the USA. see exhibition: "From The Personal Observatory"
