Henning Lohner was born in 1961 in Bremen, Germany.
From 1980 to 1987 he studied music in Frankfurt, Paris, and Boston.
In 1989 he trained to become a director under Louis Malle in Paris.
Since then he has developed many film and video projects with internationally famous personalities, such as Frank Zappa, John Cage, Dennis Hopper, Gerhard Richter, Brian Eno, just to name a few.
His most well-known video work ist "The Revenge of the dead Indians" from 1993 with John Cage.
